Yesterday: How professional is Maria that she is laughing inside of the courtroom, with the convicted murderer, in the presence of others inside of the courtroom?
This is the retrial of the sentencing phase of a convicted murderer. Maria is supposed to be a professional mitigation specialist working on this case. All jokes aside, what part of any part of this case does ja and Maria find "funny" that would have them laughing inside of the courtroom? There's a place and a time for everything. IMO, inside of the courtroom, only a few feet away from the victim's(TA's) family, is not the time or the place to laugh about anything.
