Travis's siblings are also victims of jodi and what she did to their beloved brother.

The day had a buzz to it that set some excitement in the air for trial watchers and reporters alike. It was time for Jodi Arias to put on her case. The overflow room for the public was packed and a lottery had to be done to just make into the courtroom. The media section was full from local to national news networks all in anticipation. Before Jodi's case would begin we would hear from Tanisha Sorenson and Steven Alexander, Travis's siblings. They would tell the jury about their brother in life and how his death has effected their family. It was heartwrentching, gut piercing and totally difficult to watch. Tanisha told the jury Travis was her bestfriend, they were close in age among all the brothers and sisters. They were close and she will always be blessed for knowing him. As Tanisha cried she had anger and pain in her voice as she told the jury Travis will always be 30 in her mind. Travis will never be married and he will never have children. Tanisha went on to say she has PTSD from this traumatic event and their family has fallen apart. She told the jury Travis was the rock in their family and without him it's become hard to deal with family situations. Tanisha says she sees images of Travis's dead body in her mind, and she has issues being in the shower since she's reminded of that being where Travis was left to die. She continued to say she's obsessed with carrying out her brother's legacy to the point she has lost herself and become depressed. Tanisha told the jurors she has almost lost her husband, and having to relieve this over and over again has caused her great stress. Tanisha ended with "When I think of my brother I don't want to see him stabbed, bleeding, shot to the head. I just want to see my brother!! But I can't." With that she sat down to the embrace of her husband and sister Samantha.

Steven Alexander took to the podium, and with just as much emotion as his sister Tanisha he explained to the jury what effect this murder has had on his life. Steven spoke with pain as he told the jury this murder of his brother has made him physically ill to the point he has almost died. Steven said he has nightmares of being stabbed and his throat slit by his wife's ex boyfriends, sometimes screaming out loud in his sleep. He said it has effected his marriage to the point he was separated for 2 years from his wife and child. Steven says he can only visit his brother buried in a grave and that's where he spends his Christmas. It was so hard to watch Steven
and Tanisha tell the jurors how this murder has robbed them of their loved one. It always brings my mind to my own loved ones and to try to put myself in their shoes is just a painful thought, to have it be a reality is unbearable. Steven ended his statement with Travis's own words...words that Travis wrote in a blog. "This year, 2008, will be the best year of my life!" Unfortunately it wasn't so, and that ended the impact statements from the Alexander family. Now this is when things took a turn that wasn't expected.

ALL of Travis Alexander's siblings have become victims of jodi's.  It's one thing to lose a loved one to dying a natural death (it's hard to lose a loved one by dying of a natural death) but to lose a loved one to an act of murder is a different story.  Travis's loved ones live day to day with the horrific pictures of Travis's last moments and his autopsy pics engraved into their minds.  For that, we have ONLY one murderer to blame:  Jodi Ann Arias!  Travis Alexander's murderer has NEVER shown any remorse whatsoever because she feels entitled to have murdered an innocent man in cold blood.  hodi believes that she should be set free to live her life as she seems fit; manipulating people, lying to everyone, using others for her own selfish wants, etc...and that she shouldn't have spent anytime for murdering Travis Alexander in a jealous rage.  (Again, I'll state:  Jodi Ann Arias deserves the death penalty!)
