NURMI IS ON A RAMPAGE TODAY......
Just as I thought would happen, the first words out of Nurmi on cross of Dr. DeMarte were curt and rude. There’s not going to be any period of time in THIS trial with Nurmi where he is going to show any consideration for any of the state’s witnesses.
And again, as we all predicted, DeMarte is holding her own and then some! She has repeatedly told Nurmi that she doesn’t understand his questions and some of the jurors nodded in agreement with her.
You get more with ‘honey’ than you do with ‘vinegar’, as my Granny use to say. And Nurmi is saturated with vinegar today. Nothing new…..just a continuation of how he intends to behave in front of the opposing witnesses in this case.
One of his distasteful actions he did today was so juvenile. Dr. DeMarte was answering a question and stated…”I think…..” and Nurmi shot back, “You understand I don’t care what you think.” “OBJECTION” from Martinez. It’s going to just get worse as the minutes go by. This is time for Nurmi to grandstand and for the life of me, I have no clue who he believes is attracted to this type of behavior.
I still believe Nurmi has long ago lost interest in fighting for his client Jodi Arias and his behavior is a personal vindictive towards Juan Martinez. If that’s the case…..he’s in for a rude awakening. He’s way out of his league on this one!
I look for Nurmi to keep DeMarte on the stand for a long, long time. This is the ‘star’ witness without a doubt in this case and he’s going to belittle her, try to contradict her and it’s going to go from bad to worse!
Nurmi will never ‘throw in the towel’. He has no meaning of that. Poor jurors and most importantly…….poor Dr. DeMarte.
I’ve said it numerous times but I believe it warrants repeating. Keep it up Nurmi…..because you are alienating the jurors one by one.
Let Travis continue to speak…..let his voice ring out thru the walls of the courtroom. He is not finished yet.
In case Nurmi has forgotten? Travis is the victim. He is the one who endured the 29 stab wounds, the gunshot to the face and the slitting of his throat. Pain, suffering, intense pain! That’s what Travis endured. Jodi has endured NOTHING! Her lies kept her afloat for a long time and now the air is slowly seeping out and deflating itself as each lie is being addressed and explained by Dr. DeMarte.
This is your time Travis. This is your voice! And we are all hungry to have the jurors hear the honest story like we all know it.
Jodi Arias is NOT a victim of anything…..nothing. Continue to focus on the real victim which was Travis.

"It IS the defense attorneys job to save the client, but , there is also, the Lawyers Oath, and Code of Ethics that among many other things, covers frivolous motions, not to purposely delay the trial not encouraging the client to lie, not to knowingly lie him or herself, to pursue the cause of JUSTICE.
Nurmi, and his equally unscrupulous co-chair Jennifer Wilsnot have forced the Alexander family and siblings to sit through hours and hours of Travis being defamed, smeared, dragged through the mud, with unfounded, unsubstantiated accusations and testimony, using, disreputable, sleazy paid "witnesses" like "Dr." Samuels, Alyce LaViolette, Fonseca, Geffner to spew their false accusations, heresay, and false diagnosis.
Time and again the unethical Kurt Nurmi made motions to take the DP off the table and "dismiss all charges" against his client, claiming prosecutorial "misconduct" I believe Nurmi fabricated many lies, (pedophilia, physical and verbal abuse etc. Nurmi knew for sure that the story of "ninja's did it, would never fly. Nurmi does not have one ounce or shred of decency left. HIs weight loss didn't help him at all he is still as ugly and disgusting to look at as ever. conscience and ethics.
Sherry Stephens is just as unethical for allowing all this, all the secrecy, banning of public and media precluding Juan and Detective Flores evidence, delaying the trial for now two years with illegal "ex-parte" meetings, and the false case submitted by the defense and JA&Co. One by one the assertions of the Defense team are by the testimony of Deanna and Dr. Demarten being disproven and shown as deliberate lies. Sherry Stephens and Kurt Nurmi, and Jennifer Wilsnot threw the Lawyers Oath and Code of ethics out the window.
Good thing we have attorneys like Juan Martinez, and Joey Jackson that work with principals and truth and the cause of upholding justice rather than winning a case at all costs.
