The things I'm sick of hearing when it comes to this trial are:
1. ja won't get the DP because the hype going on about botched executions. There are other means of doing an execution other than using the lethal injection. One would think that the lethal injection would be the less painful one because even if it takes a bit longer than expected for a murderer to die, they are put under while they take their last breaths. That is more than their victims got. Their victims didn't have a choice whether they wanted to live or die. Murderers have a choice whether they want to live or die, BEFORE, they murder someone(s). To be concerned about the punishment after they commit murder is very telling...they care about themselves, not the victims.
2. ja has mental issues. ja is not insane and she wasn't insane at the time that she committed the crime. A lot of people have mental issues, I think that ja is a manipulator, a habitual liar, and it never stops with her trying to manipulate and lie to everyone, even the professionals that have tried to analyze her. I think that it's too late to try and claim that you have mental issues AFTER you get arrested for murder and sit in a jail cell for years awaiting trial. Who wouldn't have some kind of mental issues after sitting in jail for years, finding out that the lies you've told and the people that you tried to manipulate didn't persuade the jury to let you walk out of jail a free woman, and you're facing the death penalty???
3. ja is young. ja wasn't that "young" when she planned to murder TA, murdered TA, and then tried to cover it up. In the courtroom she changed her initial appearance of looking like a bleached blond "waitress" that hustled men for a tip, to taking on an innocent "childlike" look. Makes me think that ja had two personas...that some people have, but it's not a mental illness. The bleached blonde, try to get attention by acting sexy thing, is her way of manipulating men and so is the "childlike" look. When using the sex appeal doesn't work...there's always the "innocent" look. I've seen manipulators use both...
ja said that she felt "used" by TA, used for sex. TA said the same thing about ja, that he felt like a "dildo with a heartbeat" when it came to her. Would I be totally wrong to say, after hearing all of the lies that ja has told, that she STOLE other peoples feelings, thoughts, pasts, and dreams, and claimed them as her own, tried to claim the worst deeds onto TA, to try and manipulate people so that she could get out of murder charges and getting sentenced to death? ja strikes me as the kind of person that "steals" other peoples lives, and in more than one way. To get out of murder, she tried to play the victim card. She tried to say that TA was the worst of the worsts. I think that ja collected everything that she knew about "others" of doing, including herself, through the years, and added them all up to fit into her stories/lies that she told about TA. I think there is truth to the saying: "You take a piece of everyone you meet with you throughout life." I think that ja is the type of person that took the good and the bad with her from everyone she knew and tried to use it to her advantage.
A. When TA told the story about the dream he had about a woman putting a gun to his head, ja was paying attention when he was telling that story. (Story sound familiar with what happened to TA?)
B. ja said that he mother smoked pot(ja was caught at 14 growing pot) while she was pregnant with her and that her father used drugs while she was growing up. TA parents were drug users when TA was growing up. (Story sound familiar?)
C. A friend of ja's was molested as a child. She knew how that man was struggling with what happened to him and his fear of doing the same thing that was done to him. ja accused TA of struggling with having pedophile tendencies. (Story sound familiar?)
I could go on and on but it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out ja. IMO, ja deserves and should get the DP. She is extremely dangerous.
