STATE HAS RESTED! BRILLIANT JOB JUAN!
The State rested today in the Jodi Arias trial. Court will not resume until Wednesday, Feb. 18th. Judge Stephens gave a 'prediction' that the trial will end by Feb. 25th or 26th.
I have to say that Juan Martinez does NOT miss one thing involved in this case. He had at the tip of his tongue an answer for every 'objection' the defense presented. Not to mention all of the sidebars the defense jumped up for!!!! He was brilliant in this trial. I have always marveled at how he could stand before a witness and hardly ever had to refer to notes. Travis couldn't have hand picked a more diligent man in his conviction to put Jodi Arias on death row!!!
He didn't miss a thing. He has MORE than proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Jodi Arias masterminded this murder, long before it took place. I will give her credit for some things. She had a DETAILED list of things to do and things not to do from the minute she got in her car to make the journey to Travis' house until she was arrested. She did some MAJOR planning.
But her ONLY mistake she didn't count on happening? She didn't plan on running into Juan Martinez and Det. Flores. How could she have known that by the time this murder case hit their desk, she was doomed?
I know you join me in being elated at his performance, dedication and love and concern for Travis' family.
Job well done Mr. Martinez and Det. Flores. You have our deepest respect. Now they can have a few days off to rest and prepare for the final part of the trial. What pride we have in both of these men.
